HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST:
Fully Remote and Full Time.
Hashtag Our Stories is looking for a talented Social Media Strategist / Manager to join our existing team of social media specialists. As a Social Media Strategist / Manager, you’ll be working across various platforms (Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube) to engage, build and track our growing audience across 7 daily short-form video shows.
The shows share amazing personal stories from real people around the world and have a global audience of over 2 million people who are predominantly 13 to 24 years old.
Working closely with a team of talented storytellers, AR lens creators and editors to strategize and effectively implement the best way to share our videos and lenses. Every day you’ll be planning the content strategy, uploading videos, crafting attention-grabbing thumbnails and titles, tracking engagement and using the feedback to keep tweaking and improving our strategy.
Crucially for this role, you should be fully immersed in multiple social media platforms, current trends and global news, and have a real passion for organisation and strategic thinking. A person who would really excel at this job would be great at balancing multiple projects and deadlines and working in a team, and would have a passion for learning what makes people tick (and click).
Part of the job is also interpreting in-depth stats around click-through rates, watch times, drop-off rates and engagement and regularly sharing that information with the broader team.
A marketing, communications or public relations degree is preferred but not required as long as you can show that you have the skills, passion and experience in social media strategy and management.
