Sales Manager (North America)


The Sales Manager will be taking on the exciting role of bringing immersive storytelling capabilities to clients and driving sales in collaboration  with the business development team. You will thrive in this role if you have a network who you think will benefit from HOS’ immersive storytelling offerings.

Fully Remote. Full Time + Commission 

Reporting to Business Development Lead

  • Identifying opportunities for new business 
  • Managing the sales process in coordination with business development and marketing and communications to close $3 million in business in the first 12 months
  • Using data and analytics for decision making and measuring effectiveness as well as creating a culture of structured experimentation and iteration to drive growth
  • Ensuring consistent messaging that is aligned with the brand
  • Building win-win relationships with new and existing partners
  • Manage the marketing budget to drive sustainable bottom-line growth
  • Lead market research and client identification process
  • Find new lines of business in order to generate growth 
  • Strategically and creatively build a pipeline and maintain a high level of activity
  • Prepare for and manage business meetings with clients
  • Help develop extensive information about clients and the industry including their internal structure, partners, budgets etc. to uncover new opportunities for revenue


  • 5+ years of previous digital media and sales experience with an existing network of branded content partners including NGOs, Socially Conscious Corporate Clients or CSR/CSI clients.
  • Excellent project management skills 
  • Demonstrated an ability to creatively problem solve revenue generating solutions / products / strategies to answer business challenges
  • Previous experience successfully driving revenue through prospecting, discovery, pitching, closing and renewing business
  • A desire to learn and adapt in an ever-changing industry that includes immersive technologies such as AR & XR. 
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal partner teams while being independent 
  • Outstanding communications skills including negotiation skills and exemplary consultative selling skills.
  • Experience working virtually and are comfortable working in a global team.
  • Adept at building relationships and liaising with multiple stakeholders in a start-up environment.
