HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A PRODUCER (with a sex education focus) :

Fully Remote and Full Time.

Hashtag Our Stories is looking for a talented Producer to join our brand new, daily Sex Education show. As a Producer, you’ll be finding, researching and helping tell amazing sex ed-themed stories that you feel need to be shared in short, dynamic documentary-style videos and that are relevant to a 13-to-24-year-old audience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Working closely with a team of experienced producers / journalists and excellent editors on every step of the process of finding, researching and telling great stories. Every day you’ll be pitching new, unique story ideas, reaching out to organise and conduct interviews with subjects, researching with great attention to detail and getting the facts straight with thorough fact checking. 

The Sex Ed team will explore sexual education stories from all angles and make sure that the content is real, educational, inspiring and inclusive above all else. We’re looking to make the kind of Sex Ed we wish we had when we were younger.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Crucially, you should be fully immersed in current trends and global news, and have a real passion for stories about people positively changing the world. A person who would really excel at this job would be great at on-time delivery, working in a team, organisation and having a passion for telling the kind of stories they’d like to watch. 

A journalism or media degree is preferred but not required as long as you can show that you have the skills and passion with a good portfolio of work.
